Intramurals is a fun after school program run Mr. Norris. Two days a week 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students get to come to the gym after school at 2:50 pm and participate in a variety of team games. These games allow students to work on their teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun, coach like environment. Some of the games we play come from the traditional sports like soccer, volleyball, flag football, and lacrosse. However, we also play a number of non-traditional games such as badminton, Takraw, speed ball, and ultimate Frisbee. These games are designed to improve student's agility, endurance, and hand-eye coordination.
Intramurals is a great way for your student to learn how to be a productive member of a team and take instruction from a coach in a game situation. Spots fill up fast, so make sure to get your permission slip to Mr. Norris as soon as you can. Hope to see your student there.
