Dear Meadow Point Elementary Community,

Meadow Point Elementary is a caring community of diverse learners positively impacting our world.

Welcome to Meadow Point, home of the Great Grizzlies!  It is shaping up to be another great year, and we are excited to offer a variety of learning opportunities during the regular school day and beyond.  Each grade level has its own unique learning opportunities planned; kindergarten students will see if their egg can survive a launch from the roof through fifth grade students who will launch a weather balloon into near-space.  We will focus on the academics and integrating technology like iPads, chromebooks and computers to expose students to new ways of thinking and learning.

Beyond the school day, Meadow Point students will have the chance to play intermural sports, sing in the choir, compete in chess, and learn how to program robots.  Our staff and community believe strongly in providing students as many opportunities as possible.  The Parent Teacher Community Organization (PTCO) will run a carnival and a dance along with earning dollars for classrooms by raising money with a Boosterthon Fun Run.

The mission in Cherry Creek is to inspire students to think, to learn, to achieve and to care.  To support students and inspire them to care, we have created R.I.S.E. Time.  Great Grizzlies are Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Safe, and demonstrate Effort.  R.I.S.E. time will be first thing in the morning and will focus on getting students ready for the day by having them about themselves, talking about issues that arise throughout the day, and utilizing an anti-bully proofing curriculum.

It’s going to be a wonderful year and I look forward to working with the Meadow Point community!  If you have any questions or would like to know how you can get involved, please feel free to call us at 720.886.8600 or visit our website at
