12 Cherry Creek Schools Named Among America's Healthiest Schools — Double Last Year's Total

Cherry Creek School District is celebrating a milestone year for student and staff wellness: twelve CCSD schools have been named to the Alliance for a Healthier Generation's 2026 America's Healthiest Schools Award list, double the six schools honored last year. The award recognizes schools that go above and beyond to support the whole child, and this year's growth is a testament to the dedication of CCSD staff across the district.

"This achievement reflects our schools' commitment to creating healthier, more supportive environments where students can thrive," said Meena Sheehan of CCSD's Office of Student Health. This work aligns directly with the Health & Wellbeing pillar of the CCSD Strategic Plan.
